About the EU4ETTR Project:
EU4 Energy Transition: Covenant of Mayors in the Western Balkans and Türkiye is a multi-donor project that is jointly co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by GIZ in 6 Western Balkan countries and by CPMA in Türkiye. This project will tackle climate change and support the energy transition in the Western Balkans and Türkiye through an increased uptake of the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy Initiative (CoM) in the region and support municipal authorities to translate their ambitions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions into reality and enhance resilience to climate change impacts, while taking into account diversity on the ground.
