Financial Services Platform

Financial Services Platform was established in order to enable experts assigned by the unit managers and/or managers of the Financial Services units of the Municipalities which are members of the Marmara Municipalities Union share their knowledge and experience, as well as to identify the problems arising from the legislation and implementation, and to offer solutions and good practice examples.

It is well known that the management of the financial processes of public administrations is carried out within the framework of an intense, detailed and variable legislation. Crucial duties and responsibilities are also assigned to the relevant managers in terms of ensuring financial transparency, accountability, and effective and efficient use of resources. The aim here is the Financial Services Platform to contribute to the proper execution of all these processes and to strengthen the financial structures of the municipalities.
